Valpey Fisher Corporation Launches Its New R1800 Series; the Lowest Voltage Oscillator Available on the Market Today.

HOPKINTON, Mass. -- Valpey Fisher Corporation (AMEX:VPF) has launched a new series of 5X7 mm Surface Mount HCMOS 1.8V Crystal Oscillators; the lowest voltage oscillator available on the market today. This series is an expansion to Valpey Fisher's full line of frequency control products.

The new R1800 series meets the increasing demand for low voltage, broad frequency ranges, and tighter stability options. With frequency ranges from 850 KHz to 165MHz and stability options from +/-100ppm to +/-25ppm, the R1800 series gives customers an opportunity to significantly improve the cost to performance ratio of systems using this series.

Valpey Fisher's R model surface mount (SMD) oscillators provide clock waveforms needed for standard HCMOS circuits. This series also features low power consumption, low phase jitter, fixed frequency or tristate, and a start up time of less than 5 milliseconds. The typical application for this new series is any specification calling for a surface mount PCB that requires a standard HCMOS/TTL 1.8V clock, including micro-processors and micro-controllers.
