Valpey Fisher Corporation Appoints Walter L. Oliwa to Senior Management Team.


HOPKINTON, Mass. -- Valpey Fisher Corporation today announced the appointment of Walter Oliwa to its senior management team as vice president of R&D, reporting to Michael Ferrantino, Sr., president and chief executive officer. Mr. Oliwa brings to the team more than 20 years of experience in design and development in the electronics industry. Mr. Oliwa spent the last 13 years at Integrated Circuit integrated circuit (IC), electronic circuit built on a semiconductor substrate, usually one of single-crystal silicon. The circuit, often called a chip, is packaged in a hermetically sealed case or a nonhermetic plastic capsule, with leads extending from it for  Systems, Inc. (formally MicroNetworks), where he served in senior level positions.
