Valley Forge Scientific Announces New Marketing Agreement for Its Bident Tissue Management System; New Sales Force Targets 3,000 Dealer Sales Reps in U.S. and Canada.

Valley Forge Scientific Corp. (NASDAQ: VLFG; BSE: VLF), which develops and manufactures medical device products for hospital and healthcare markets worldwide, today announced that the exclusive distributor of its Bident(R)Tissue Management System and disposable instruments, Bident International, L.L.C., has signed a marketing agreement with Executive Sales Associates/Razzano & Associates.

ESA/Razzano's customer network covering the United States and Canada is served by 21 ESA representatives in 19 separate territories, which services dealer groups with over 3,000 sales representatives. ESA also provides sales training and clinical support for its dealer groups, and publishes a newsletter distributed to over 5,000 sales reps in the U.S. and Canada, serving as an additional sales vehicle for the Bident(R) system. This relationship vastly broadens Bident International's market penetration, which up to now has been mainly through direct mail and regional and national trade shows.

The Bident(R) Tissue Management System employs the same DualWave(TM) technology developed by Valley Forge Scientific for neurosurgery. Dentists, like neurosurgeons, are particularly affected by the limitations of monopolar devices to work safely around metal implants, bone, nerves and blood vessels. The elimination of the grounding pad, through bipolar delivery of current, is an important factor for dentists concerned with both safety and patient perception and fear of the equipment used in the general dentistry setting. In addition to superior surgical results, the Bident(R) system yields significant cost advantages compared with expensive laser based devices.
