Valhalla's Sutton Place North named BOMA Westchester 'Building of Year.'.


For the second time m three years, Sutton Park Sutton Park, in Sutton Coldfield, England, is one of the largest urban parks in Europe and the largest outside a capital city; it is smaller than Richmond Park in London,[1] but larger than the Phoenix Park in Dublin which both claim to be the largest in the continent.  North, a 100,000-square-foot corporate office building owned and managed by Louis Dreyfus Property Group, has been named "The Office Building of the Year" by the Building Owners and Managers Association This article or section needs sources or references that appear in reliable, third-party publications.  at Tappan Hill in Tarrytown, NY. Sutton Park North was named "The Office Building of the Year" by BOMA Westchester in 1997 and went on to win recognition in BOMA's Regional and International competition.

Located on Columbus Avenue in Valhalla, Sutton Park North is a three-story corporate office building with enclosed underground parking. The building's exterior of Italian granite panels framed by continuous gray glass windows creates a gracious corporate appearance accentuated by a dramatic vaulted glass enclosed atrium.

Sutton Park North, which is fully leased, is the first of three buildings to be built on the 30-acre wooded site. Louis Dreyfus Property Group has approvals for two additional buildings at Sutton Park totaling 300,000 square feet of space.

Sutton Park is Louis Dreyfus Property Group's first office project in Westchester County. The company, which owns and manages more than 3 million square feet of commercial space in North America North America, third largest continent (1990 est. pop. 365,000,000), c.9,400,000 sq mi (24,346,000 sq km), the northern of the two continents of the Western Hemisphere.  and Europe, with plans to build an additional 2 million square feet, has begun construction of a new 315,000 square-foot office complex in Goldens Bridge, NY. The project, which is located on 58 wooded acres off I-684, is designed by Kevin Roche Kevin Roche (b. June 14, 1922) is an award winning twentieth-century Irish architect. He is famous for his creative work with glass.

 Avenue with a 23-story office building. Designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, Connecticut Place will have up to 508,000 square feet of state-of-the-art commercial office space.

In Wilton, CT, Louis Dreyfus Property Group intends to break ground this spring on Twenty Westport Road, a 335,000 square-foot office building. The building has two connected wings of 167,500 square feet each, providing floorplates of 56,000 to 112,000 square feet.
