Valeant Launches Kinerase(R) in Nordstrom; Creates Pro+Therapy Line Exclusively for Physicians.

COSTA MESA, Calif. -- Valeant Pharmaceuticals International (NYSE:VRX) today announced that it reached an agreement with Nordstrom, Inc. (NYSE:JWN) to more than double the distribution of its Kinerase(R) Core Collection of skin care products in Nordstrom stores nationwide. In addition, Valeant announced the official launch of its exclusive physician-only Kinerase Pro+Therapy product line.

Kinerase was introduced into 32 Nordstrom stores in January 2006, and will expand into 41 additional stores in May. The entire Kinerase Core Collection will be available at the high-end retailer, including Kinerase Cream, Kinerase Lotion, Kinerase Cream with SPF 15, Kinerase Intensive Eye Cream, Kinerase C6 Peptide Intensive Treatment, Kinerase Gentle Daily Cleanser, Kinerase Hydrating Antioxidant Mist, Kinerase Under Eye Rescue and Kinerase Lip Treatment.
