Members of the communications design, embedded software, and system-on-a-chip (SoC) communities are invited to attend the VSI VSI Vinyl Siding Institute VSI Voltage Source Inverter VSI Virtual Switch Interface VSI Vertical Speed Indicator VSI Voluntary Separation Incentive VSI Virtual Socket Interface VSI Vision Systems International VSI Vertical Shaft Impactor Alliance (VSIA VSIA Virtual Socket Interface Alliance ) USA Member Meeting at the Communications Design Conference on October 1, 2001. This year's meeting will feature a keynote by J. Augusto de Oliveira, Sr. Fellow and Chief Architect & Innovation Manager, Business Unit Consumer Systems, Philips Semiconductors (NYSE NYSE See: New York Stock Exchange :PHG), discussing issues associated with SoC and platform development with embedded software reuse emphasis. There will also be a panel addressing the challenges to VSIA relating to platform, methodology, and embedded software reuse. This event is supported by the Communications Design Conference and is open to everyone.
