But there is a vacuum when it comes to Middle Eastern music with roots among Muslims and Jews of medieval times
Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament . That may sound limited in scope, but there are more than a few in our area who value those too-seldom heard sounds. That is reflected by the popularity of a weekly program on KWAX, called ``Harmonia,'' on Thursdays at 6 p.m. It features music of the Baroque era Noun 1. Baroque era - the historic period from about 1600 until 1750 when the baroque style of art, architecture, and music flourished in Europe Baroque, Baroque period in the West and the East. I'd urge clubs in Eugene and Springfield to give a hearing through a series of gigs for such musical groups. KWAX and KLCC KLCC Kuala Lumpur City Centre (Malaysia) , the only logical radio venues for such a format, could build big audiences for what to many is a new sound, though its roots are old.
