The School Garden Project Of Lane County - seeks volunteers to help teach children in grades one through eight about gardening, food issues and environmental responsibility.

McKenzie-Willamette Medical Center - seeks volunteers to assist recovery room staff with surgical patients.

Ya-Po-Ah Terrace - seeks bus drivers. No special license is needed but a good driving record required.

Oregon Rangers The Oregon Rangers were the first organized militia of settlers in the Willamette Valley of what became the state of Oregon. Later a second militia was formed with the same name and some of the same members, but lasted only a few months.  Association - is hosting a free event from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 9 at Greenwater Park in Oakridge to provide information about volunteer opportunities in Lane County.

ShelterCare's Garden Place - seeks a friend for a 50-something man in the program who needs assistance to be out in the community.

The Senior Companions Program - seeks companions 60 years and older to help adults in the community live independently and remain active. The program is sponsored by Lane Community College.

OSU/Lane County Extension Service - in collaboration with FOOD for Lane County, will hold a volunteer food pantry training event from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 13 at the Extension Service auditorium auditorium

Portion of a theater or hall where an audience sits, as distinct from the stage. The auditorium originated in the theaters of ancient Greece, as a semicircular seating area cut into a hillside.
