WALTHAM, Mass. -- Sales of FiberSIM(R) software to aerospace companies across the Asia Pacific region have increased 318 percent in a single year

VISTAGY, Inc., the developer of FiberSIM(R) computer-aided-design (CAD) integrated software for the design and manufacture of composite parts, today announced the appointment of Mamoru Iguchi as its general manager of the Asia Pacific region. The company has established this new position in response to a remarkable 318 percent, multimillion-dollar growth in Asian purchases of FiberSIM over a twelve-month period ending September 30, 2005.

These companies will use FiberSIM to design and manufacture composite parts for helicopters and commercial airliners.

The general manager of Asia Pacific will be responsible for sales of FiberSIM to Korea, Japan, China, Australia, and other countries in the Asia Pacific region. His focus will include the aerospace industry, expanding sales among Asian automotive OEMs and suppliers, as well as penetrating new markets.
