VIP LANDS $3.6 MILLION TREASURY CONTRACT.

Visionary Integration Professionals, Inc. (VIP), a management consulting and information technology company has landed a five-year, $3.6 million contract with the U.S. Treasury Department. VIP will provide project management, and organizational and technical support for over 125 high-tech systems within the large systems development branch of the IRS.

VIP will assist the Systems Development Branch to define and standardize business areas for the organization, map the 125 systems to the business areas, and help transition the organization to the new areas and mappings.

"We are excited about helping IRS standardize such a diverse and complex number of high-tech systems," said Jonna Ward, President of VIP. The 125 systems at IRS run the gamut of technology from the latest e-commerce platforms to older standalone systems that manage taxpayer information throughout the United States.

VIP will oversee and manage the IRS project from its office in Alexandria, VA. "With a growing client list that includes the federal sector and other state governments," explained Ward, "we decided to open an office in Virginia last March to make sure we provide the best, most efficient service to our customers, just as we have in California."

VIP currently offers its services within 14 State of California agencies including the Franchise Tax Board and the Board of Equalization. VIP also provides services to three federal agencies and over 30 private sector clients

VIP officially began the project in October and will continue through September 2005.

VIP is a small woman-owned company that provides management consulting and information technology services. It was established in February 1996 and was named in 1999 as the fastest growing information technology firm in the Sacramento Valley according to the Sacramento Business Journal. The company has 75 employees working in three states, providing services to 14 State of California agencies, three federal agencies, and 31 private sector clients. In 1999, VIP reported revenues of $5.5 million. Revenues in 2000 are expected to be $7.4 million.
