VIP Global Capital and XXL enter into joint venture.

DENVER--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 5, 1995--VIP Global Capital Inc. (VIPG, a NASDAQ company) announced Thursday that is has acquired an equity interest with an option to purchase majority control of Extra Extra Large Corp. (XXL), a company that specializes in interactive multimedia services such as designing and producing custom CD ROMs, interactive Kiosks and homepage listings on the internet.

Timothy S. Vasko, president of VIPG, will serve as chairman of XXL while Dennis Wakabayashi, the founder of XXL, will continue to serve as president.

VIP Communications Group (VIPCOMM), a subsidiary of VIPG, has entered into a joint venture agreement with XXL to provide worldwide web and internet services to its clients. VIPCOMM is now one of the most vertically integrated one-stop shops for direct marketing services in the Rocky Mountain region with the addition of interactive technology.

VIPCOMM's clients, which include Samsonite, Gerry, and Time Warner have at their fingertips such direct marketing services as full service multi-color sheet fed and web printing, graphic arts design and electronic pre-press, direct mail and data processing, multi-media presentations, and internet/world-wide web capabilities.

"With the expansion of our organization, particularly in our Print Graphics and Communications division, our mission is to be a leader in providing direct marketing services," stated Vasko. "This means providing capabilities in the 'electronic commerce' industry that is rapidly developing through the internet."

XXL, which first opened its doors for business January 1995, as an on-line directory of advertising-related services, was the first company in the United States to link national vendors such as Gannett Outdoor and Magazine Publishers of America to local advertising agencies via the world wide web. XXL will now expand beyond the advertising industry into greater corporate America by providing homepages on the internet for VIPCOMM's clientele.
