VINCENT J. FUMO, ESQ. TO JOIN DILWORTH, PAXSON, KALISH & KAUFFMAN

 PHILADELPHIA, March 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Dilworth, Paxson, Kalish & Kauffman, a national law firm based in Philadelphia, today announced that Vincent Joseph Fumo, Esq. will become affiliated with the firm, beginning April 1, serving "of counsel."
 Fumo, a member of the Pennsylvania Senate since 1978, and Democratic chairman of the Senate Appropriations Committee, had been associated in the practice of law with the Astor, Weiss & Newman law firm.
 According to Dilworth's vice chairman, Joseph H. Jacovini, the addition of Fumo will significantly enhance the firm's ability to advise clients on a wide variety of issues. "We are extremely pleased to have an attorney of the stature of Senator Fumo join our firm," said Jacovini. "He is an exceptionally effective lawyer whose experience and knowledge of business and government will be a great resource to our firm and to our clients.  Fumo, who also serves as president and director of the Pennsylvania Savings Bank, brings a unique mix of business, political and legal experience to his new firm. He holds a master's degree in business administration from the University of Pennsylvania and a juris doctor degree from the Temple University School of Law.
 Active in civic and professional affairs, Fumo is a director of several regional boards, including the Philadelphia Industrial Development Corporation, Independence Blue Cross, the Philadelphia Board of City Trusts and the University of the Arts. He also serves as a commissioner of the Delaware River Port Authority.
