VIEWLOGIC ADDS FOUR NEW VARs TO DISTRIBUTION NETWORK

 MARLBORO, Mass., Sept. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Viewlogic Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: VIEW) today announced the addition of four more value-added resellers (VARs) to the growing distribution network for its affordable family of Microsoft Windows(TM) and DOS-based electronic design automation (EDA) tools, PRO Series(TM). The four new VARs are: SYNTEK (Bellevue, Wash.); CAD Products, Inc. (Marlton, N.J.); Royo CAD Inc. (Claremont, Calif.); and Plano CAD Engineering (Plano, Texas).

 PRO Series is targeted at engineers who design programmable logic devices (PLDs) and entry-level systems. As their worke?comes more complex, these users can easily migrate to Viewlogic's high-performance Workview PLUS(TM) and Powerview(TM) solutions.
 Syntek is the Pacific Northwest's leading VAR for EDA software tools and hardware platforms. The company provides technical consultation to help customers choose the correct toolsets, integration services, training, installation of software, and design services on all phases of EDA.
 CAD Products, Inc. (CPI) has been the mid-Atlantic headquarters for computer-aided design software since 1986.
