VIDEOCART BOARD NAMES SPEARS CHAIRMAN

 CHICAGO, April 1 /PRNewswire/ -- VideOcart, Inc. (NASDAQ: VCRTC), announced today that President and Chief Executive Ronald E. Spears was appointed to the additional post of chairman by the board of directors.
 In commenting on the board's action, William B. McKnight, Jr., chairman of the executive committee of the board of directors, said, The board took this action to clearly demonstrate our confidence in Ron's leadership and management abilities. VideOcart is now well positioned for the challenges it faces."
 VideOcart is a micro-marketing media company, which installs and maintains a communication network consisting of programmable and targetable digital communications to video displays affixed to grocery shopping carts. This communications network, now installed in supermarkets across the country, allows consumer product goods manufacturers to reach consumers at the exact aisle location of the brand being advertised or promoted with a flexible video message.
