NEW YORK, Sept. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Savvy marketers look for every edge, every angle they can get when planning their marketing strategies. Now, thanks to a special video offer from Advertising Age and The Duplication Factory, these marketers can learn how cost-effective and powerful video can be.
During the next four to six weeks, 10,000 Advertising Age subscribers will receive "Marketing with Video," an informational video tape presenting case histories of successful video marketing strategies.
"We feel that video is a viable marketing medium that even Advertising Age uses with enormous success," said Ed Erhardt, vice president and publisher of Advertising Age. "It can play an important role in integrated marketing strategies, and we want our readers to have an opportunity to sample it. Because we believe in `Marketing with Video,' we have entered into an arrangement with a video marketing specialist in Minneapolis -- the Duplication Factory -- so we can offer it free to our subscribers."
"Marketing with Video" is a 20-minute tape that showcases video marketing success stories, including Steamboat Ski Resort, Stanley Tools, Cadillac, and DuPont.
"As marketers look for ways to reach highly targeted audience segments more effectively, video is a natural," explained Barry Johnson of the Duplication Factory. "Video has an immediacy and a perceived value that is compelling. And now, because of reduced costs, you can put a nicely packaged video in the mail for the same price as -- or less than -- a four-color printed piece," he said.
In addition to mailing the "Marketing with Video" tape free to select subscribers, Advertising Age also is offering the tape and a complete "Marketing with Video" Kit free of charge to readers who respond to ads in upcoming issues.
The complete "Marketing with Video" Kit includes the video tape, an idea guide with more than 20 corporate case studies, a guide for choosing video tape packaging, and video production tips.
