VESTA Technology Receives Repeat Order for ALD/CVD System from Japan.

SAN JOSE, Calif. -- VESTA Technology, Inc. has announced the shipment of a follow-on order of its next-generation single wafer ALD/CVD Metal System, VULCAN(TM) to a major Japanese semiconductor company which will be used for < 45nm and next generation logic devices, as part of a joint development with their alliance companies in Japan. VESTA Technology, Inc. is an International Semiconductor Equipment Supplier of the largest installed base of Atomic Layer Deposition A semiconductor manufacturing technique that deposits a single layer on a chip that is only one atom or one molecule thick. As elements on a chip decreased to below 100 nm, this essential technology for making the chip ever smaller became commercial after the turn of the 21st century.  (ALD ALD

"This order follows on a successful qualification of the existing Nano-ALD System at our customers' site in Japan. It is a direct result of the successful progress of joint development work with them at our R&D and Customer Demonstration facility at ATDF ATDF American Tap Dance Foundation
ATDF Advanced Technology Development Facility, Inc (Austin, TX)
ATDF ASCII Test Data Format (semi-conductor industry)
ATDF Automated Target Data Fusion
(Advanced Technology Development Facility, an independent subsidiary of SEMATECH SEMATECH Semiconductor Manufacturing Technology  Inc.), where we have continued to demonstrate the performance capabilities of our latest generation VULCAN[TM] Metal ALD/CVD system," explained Chuck Kim, VESTA Technology's Vice President of Marketing.

The VULCAN(TM) Metal ALD/CVD System is a 3rd Generation Production ALD system, design enhanced and optimized through production environment experience. The VULCAN(TM) Metal System continues to impress the world market as a highly versatile performance enabler, endorsed and installed for production and process development at ATDF.

"VULCAN[TM] Metal ALD/CVD System can provide in-situ and/or sequential dual mode of ALD with CVD CVD Cardiovascular disease, see there  processing with both thermal and plasma processing capability," commented by Dr. SI Lee, CTO (Chief Technical Officer) The executive responsible for the technical direction of an organization. See CIO and salary survey.  of VESTA Technology, Inc. "Semiconductor solutions in ALD/CVD continue to be enabled with our VULCAN[TM] with latest implementation of our Multi-pole Inductively Coupled Plasma An inductively coupled plasma (ICP) is a type of plasma source in which the energy is supplied by electrical currents which are produced by electromagnetic induction, that is, by time-varying magnetic fields.  (M-ICP) Etch Technology for added next generation Soft-etch and pre-cleaning capabilities within the system for BEOL BEOL Back-End-Of-Line

 (Back End-Of-the-Line) applications."

The world is seeing the VULCAN(TM) for what it was designed to be; a true solution for today's hurdles, leading to tomorrow's technology. With its proven success in the worlds leading DRAM production fabs, it is the natural progression for the VULCAN(TM) to be sought after for use in the Logic and Special Applications markets.
