STRATFORD, Conn. -- VERTEBRON Inc. (VERTEBRON) is proud to announce the release of the Small Stature Cervical Plate (SSP (1) (Service Switching Point) The local exchange node in an SS7 telephone network. The SSP can be part of the voice switch or in a separate computer connected to it. ) System, its second cervical plate system release. The SSP cervical plate is designed for smaller stature patients providing a better anatomic fit for narrower vertebral bodies. The SSP utilizes the identical locking mechanism, implants and instruments as the Semi-Constrained Cervical Plate (SCP) System initial release. Some common system enhancements include self-drilling screws and streamlined instrumentation, requiring as few as three instruments, to simplify the surgical technique.

The SSP system incorporates many patent pending features, including an integrated self-locking mechanism and QuickSet quick·set
