VERSAR, Inc. Appoints Larry Bailey as Leader of Air Force Programs.

) announced today that Mr. Larry Bailey has joined the Company as the leader of its Air Force Programs and manager of Versar's San Antonio, Texas office. Mr. Bailey recently retired from the Federal Government as a Senior Executive with the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE). At the DOE, he was most recently the Director of the Groundwater and Soil Remediation Office. Mr. Bailey also served for two years as Deputy Manager and Chief Operating Officer at the DOE's Waste Isolation Pilot Plant in Carlsbad, New Mexico.

Mr. Bailey previously held senior positions at Kelly Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas, the Defense Reutilization and Marketing Service, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the Texas Department of Water Resources.

Mr. Bailey has a Bachelor of Science in Aquatic Biology and Chemistry from Southwest Texas State University and a Master in Management from Webster University. Mr. Bailey and his wife Jeanie will be relocating to San Antonio, Texas.
