Version 8.0 of VERITAS Backup Exec for Windows NT and Windows 2000 competitive migration promotion is available June 22-September 15, 2000 through VERITAS Software's network of authorized Team VERITAS(TM) VARs worldwide, starting at a suggested retail price of $595 for the Server Edition, $895 for the Advanced Server Edition and $495 for each included option. Prices are based on a savings of up to 60 percent below the regular MSRP.

VERITAS Backup Exec for Windows NT/2000

As the first and only backup and restore data protection solution to receive the certified for Windows 2000 Server and Advanced Server logo from Microsoft, version 8.0 of VERITAS Backup Exec for Windows NT and Windows 2000 offers complete protection of the Windows 2000 System State including Active Directory, COM (1) (Computer Output Microfilm) Creating microfilm or microfiche from the computer. A COM machine receives print-image output from the computer either online or via tape or disk and creates a film image of each page. + Class Registration Database, Registry, System Volume and System Files.
