VERANO EXTENDS CLICK2BIZ PLATFORM TO PROVIDE SUPPLY CHAIN EVENT MANAGEMENT SOLUTIONS.

Verano, a B2B software infrastructure company, has launched its Supply Chain Event Management (SCEM) solution to extend its reach into one of the software industry's fastest growing markets. Verano's closed-loop solution is a single offering that allows enterprises to provide real time visibility into cross-enterprise business processes, internal applications, and production related processes. Verano's supply chain event management solution delivers the power of the Verano's Click2Biz process automation workflow modeler with real time data acquisition, monitoring and statistical reporting capability to provide the critical response-oriented business processes that are normally associated with supply chain event management. SCEM includes a broad class of applications supporting the following five functions -- Monitor, Notify, Simulate, Control and Measure as business processes.

Verano's supply chain event management solution provides the capability to monitor alarms, exception conditions and data acquisition in real time. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that are established based on business rules and criteria can be tracked in real time. Tracking attributes like on-time delivery, average days to deliver, or conversion time from receipt of order to cash are real life examples of KPIs. Verano's solution provides the added capability of creating pre-designated actions to respond to alerts (wireless, automatic messaging or visual dashboard style alerts) and alarms.
