The Milenium, which has enjoyed a successful travel season this summer, looks forward to playing close to home this weekend. ``It will be nice because we won't have to waste any money on hotel rooms or drive far to play,'' said Alicia Coenen, one of the top players for the Milenium. Coenen was the Most Valuable Player at the national tournament in Denver. In addition, Brittny McDonald, Sarah Bailey and Amelia Waltz earned All-American honors in Denver. Coenen credits teamwork for Ventura's success. Most of the girls on the team have played together for three years, creating a comfort level that is evident on and off the field. ``Everybody gets along and we have fun with each other,'' Coenen said. ``But we know when to be serious, too. Even when we yell at one another we know that nobody is mad. We just want to win.''
