Staff Writer Michael Paluszak, who served 10 years as chief executive officer of Seaside Park and the Ventura County Fair, said Tuesday that he will resign effective Jan. 1 to pursue business opportunities. During a closed-door session at the fair board's monthly meeting, Paluszak announced he would be quitting to form a production and management company for fairs and similar events. ``I've been a fair manager for 21 years, managing three fairs,'' he said afterward af·ter·ward also af·ter·wards adv. Paluszak, who makes about $86,000 a year, also served as general manager of the park and the annual fair. Crystal Events Inc., his new Ventura-based company, will produce, manage and consult for fairs and festivals as well as corporate and municipal events. ``I think there is a real need for resource and service providers in support of (these) events,'' Paluszak said.
