VARITY CORPORATION DECLARES REGULAR DIVIDENDS ON TWO CLASSES OF PREFERRED SHARES

 BUFFALO, N.Y., March 23 /PRNewswire/ -- The board of directors of Varity Corporation (NYSE: VAT) declared regular quarterly dividends of U.S., $0.325 per share on Class I Series A preferred stock; U.S. $0.3825 per share on Class I, Canadian Series A preferred stock; and Cdn. $0.40625 per share on Class II Series A preferred stock, payable April 30, 1993, to holders of record as of the close of business March 31, 1993.
