VANDALS STRIKE 12 A.V. CHURCHES DEPUTIES SEEK HELP IN FINDING CULPRITS.

LANCASTER - Twelve Lancaster churches were struck by vandals who broke windows and spray-painted inverted inverted

Investigators said Thursday afternoon that they did not know what the motivation may have been or how many vandals may have been involved.

Besides the 12 churches, three residences were hit with similar vandalism, officials said. Besides spray-painting graffiti and smashing windows, the vandals broke fences and did other damage.

Officials are asking for anyone who saw anything suspicious near the vandalized churches Wednesday night or Thursday morning to call Feehan at the Lancaster sheriff's station at (661) 948-8466.
