VAN CRASH PUTS BICYCLIST, 23, IN THE HOSPITAL OFFICER HURT ON WAY TO SCENE.

GLENDALE - A 23-year-old man suffered serious injuries Thursday afternoon when he was hit by a van while riding his bike, police said Thursday.

Minutes later, a motorcycle officer heading to the scene suffered minor injuries when he was hit by a different car.
