Lancaster's Aerospace Walk of Honor aviation fair today will include the Reflection Pavilion, with a backdrop of the Freedom Tower, which is being built on the site of the World Trade Center, and a book visitors can sign.

The pavilion will be staffed by firefighters, police officers and armed forces veterans in dress uniforms.

The Aerospace Walk of Honor monument's unveiling ceremony will feature a moment of silence in honor of the 9-11 victims.

The aviation fair will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. today at Boeing Plaza, on the corner of Lancaster Boulevard and Sierra Highway. The monuments will be unveiled at 11:30 a.m. The event is open to the public and admission is free.

Honorees will be test pilots Thomas Morganfeld, Joseph Rogers, Roger Smith, Joseph Tymczyszyn and Richard Truly. Tymczyszyn died in 1999 at age 81.

The Antelope Valley Interfaith Council will host a memorial service at 5 p.m. today at the Antelope Valley Center of Light, 1030 W. Ave. L-8, Lancaster. It will feature prayers or readings in the Bahai, Buddhist, Christian, Jewish, Muslim, American Indian, New Thought and Wicca faith traditions.

After the presentations, a potluck meal will be hosted at 6:30 p.m. Participants are asked not to bring foods containing pork or pork products. Guests are also asked to bring dry-food staples, cleaning supplies, toiletries toi·let·ry

The Antelope Valley College Antelope Valley College is a comprehensive community college located in Lancaster, California, USA. It is operated by the Antelope Valley Community College District, with a primary service area of 1,945 square miles covering portions of Los Angeles and Kern counties.  Gospel Choir will be featured during the Gospel Feast Jubilee that will run from 6 to 9 p.m. today in the gymnasium at Jackie Robinson County Park, 8773 E. Ave. R, Littlerock. Admission will be free.

The Patriots Day Celebration and 12th annual Quartz Hill Festival will run from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. today at Lane Park, 5520 W. Ave. L-8, Quartz Hill. Medieval re-enactments, children's activities, a model-train display, a car show and arts and crafts arts and crafts, term for that general field of applied design in which hand fabrication is dominant. The term was coined in England in the late 19th cent. as a label for the then-current movement directed toward the revivifying of the decorative arts.  events will be featured.

Performing will be the bands Blind Date and Cervantes. Admission is free.

A health fair and festival will be held from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. today at 82nd Street East and Pearblossom Highway in Littlerock. Health screenings will be offered at the Littlerock Community Clinic. There will be live music and folklorico dancers. The event, sponsored by Los Angeles County's High Desert Health System and the Littlerock Chamber of Commerce, is dedicated to 9-11 victims and is a celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month.

United Way of Kern County and Rosamond Senior Citizens will host a Day of Caring all-day bingo fund-raiser from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. today in Hummel hummel
