VALLEY OF THE POETS.Hey, it's the year 2000! So what WAS that fuss about anyway? Who knows. Anyway, remember during the last century, when we were moved to wax poetic about how borrrrring we thought all this Y2K See Y2K problem and Y2K compliant. Y2K - Year 2000 hoopla hoop·la n. Informal 1. a. Boisterous, jovial commotion or excitement. b. Extravagant publicity: The new sedan was introduced to the public with much hoopla. 2. was turning out to be? And remember that we asked you to complete the thought with your own ending? Well, we got a variety of responses. We heard from some who questioned what all the noise was about, some who blamed the media, some who pleaded with us to improve our spelling, one who even castigated ol' Harvey's wordsmithery and ultimately one who cut to the heart of the matter: This celebration was a year too early.
