Valley, southern California, U.S. Northwest of central Los Angeles, the valley is bounded by the San Gabriel, Santa Susana, and Santa Monica mountains and the Simi Hills. Fair will open today for a four-day run of fun, food and entertainment at the Hansen Dam Hansen Dam in Los Angeles County, California was built by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Los Angeles District in 1939 and 1940. The project is located near the northern edge of the San Fernando Valley on Tujunga Wash, about one mile below the confluence of the Big Tujunga Wash Sports Center.

Fair hours are: today, 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.; Friday, 4 p.m. to midnight; Saturday, noon to midnight; and Sunday, noon to 10 p.m.
The Hansen Dam Sports Center is at 11400 Foothill Blvd. in Lake View Terrace.
Tiger trainer Andy Spolyar plays with Lazarus, a snow-white Bengal tiger, Wednesday at the Hansen Dam Sports Center. They will appear in the Tigers of India Spectacular Show, which will be held three times a day at the San Fernando Valley Fair.
