The 59th annual San Fernando Valley San Fernando Valley

Valley, southern California, U.S. Northwest of central Los Angeles, the valley is bounded by the San Gabriel, Santa Susana, and Santa Monica mountains and the Simi Hills.
 Fair will open today for a four-day run of fun, food and entertainment at the Hansen Dam Hansen Dam in Los Angeles County, California was built by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Los Angeles District in 1939 and 1940. The project is located near the northern edge of the San Fernando Valley on Tujunga Wash, about one mile below the confluence of the Big Tujunga Wash  Sports Center.

Traditional livestock, horticulture and crafts exhibits will also be offered to shed light on the Valley's economic, educational and cultural riches. Musical artists Gary Lewis Gary Lewis may refer to:
  • Gary Lewis, son of Jerry Lewis, and lead singer of Gary Lewis & the Playboys.
  • Gary Lewis, Scottish actor (Billy Elliot/Gangs of New York)
 and the Playboys are scheduled to perform 1960s hits.

Fair hours are: today, 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.; Friday, 4 p.m. to midnight; Saturday, noon to midnight; and Sunday, noon to 10 p.m.

The Hansen Dam Sports Center is at 11400 Foothill Blvd. in Lake View Terrace.
