VALLEY'S WINNERS WOODLAND HILLS ROTARY HONORS TAFT DECATHLON TEAM.

The Woodland Hills Rotary Club recently honored the Academic Decathlon decathlon (dĭkăth`lŏn), in modern Olympic games, a contest for men held over two days and composed of 10 track-and-field events.  team from Taft High School, which won the national Academic Decathlon championships, scoring 51,659 points out of a possible 60,000.

Team members won 43 medals and seven of the top nine awards.
