VALLEY'S SENATORS RECEIVE ASSIGNMENTS.

State senators received their new committee assignments this week, with San Fernando Valley San Fernando Valley

Valley, southern California, U.S. Northwest of central Los Angeles, the valley is bounded by the San Gabriel, Santa Susana, and Santa Monica mountains and the Simi Hills.
 legislators landing spots on committees to tackle issues ranging from health care reform to school policies and approving the state budget.

Sen. Alex Padilla Alex Padilla is a politician in California. He was elected as the State Senator for the 20th District of California in November 2006 and was inaugurated in early December. In order to enter the Senate he had to resign as Councilman for the 7th District on the Los Angeles City , D-Van Nuys, said his assignments -- including a seat on the budget subcommittee on Health and Human Services Noun 1.  -- should help him address issues important to the Valley.

She is currently a Democratic member of the California State Senate, representing the highly urbanized 23rd district in Los Angeles County and parts of southern , D-Los Angeles: Agriculture; Appropriations; Environmental Quality; Health (chairwoman); Judiciary; Labor and Industrial Relations industrial relations
