VALEDICTORIAN OF A.V. HIGH COMPLETES BASIC TRAINING.

Antelope Valley High School Antelope Valley High School is located in Lancaster, California and is part of the Antelope Valley Union High School District. It was founded in 1912[1]. It is located in the Mojave Desert.  valedictorian John Ancheta has completed cadet basic training at the U.S. Military Academy.

Son of Crescencio and Marie Ancheta of Lancaster, Ancheta is among approximately 1,300 cadet candidates who concluded their training last month with a 12-mile road march from Camp Buckner to West Point.

New cadets were officially accepted into the Corps of Cadets Corps of Cadets may refer to:
  • The United States Military Academy Corps of Cadets
  • The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina Corps of Cadets
  • Texas A&M University Corps of Cadets
  • Virginia Tech Corps of Cadets
 during the acceptance parade.

Ancheta plans to graduate from West Point in 2010 and will be commissioned a second lieutenant LIEUTENANT.
