VALCOM APPOINTS DADON TO BOARD NEW CHAIRMAN HEADS MEDIA GROUP.Byline: Daily News VALENCIA - Local entertainment company ValCom has appointed film and television producer David Dadon to the board of directors. Dadon, who will serve as board chairman, has worked in pay television, cable and feature films and specializes in entertainment management including corporate planning, financial administration and capital sourcing. He also is chairman of Los Angeles-based Bay Shore Bay Shore, uninc. village (1990 pop. 21,279), Islip town, Suffolk co., SE N.Y., on the south shore of Long Island, at the widest point of Great South Bay; founded 1708. A long-time fishing and duck-hunting center, it is a retail hub and a gateway (by ferry) to Fire Island. Media Group and Giants Entertainment. In October 2003, ValCom entered into a deal with Giants subsidiary Giants Studios Services Inc. to lease film $7 million in film and television equipment in exchange for half the company's profits over five years. ``We are very fortunate to find such an individual as David who is qualified and highly respected in the entertainment business,'' Vince Vellardita, ValCom's president and chief executive officer, said in a statement. ``We are pleased to add him as a director and Chairman of the Board of Directors.'' ValCom owns 13 acres of land and about 300,000 square feet of commercial space with 14 film and television soundstages in Valencia and Las Vegas. It holds long-term contracts with the CBS-TV series ``JAG'' and ``Navy NCIS NCIS - National Coalition of Independent Scholars NCIS - National Crime Intelligence Service NCIS - National Crop Insurance Service (gathers crop-hail statistics) NCIS - NATO Common Interface Standard NCIS - Naval Criminal Investigative Service NCIS - Navy Cost Information System NCIS - Nuclear Criticality Information System.''
