VA services for recent combat veterans.


To help meet the needs of returning combat veterans, the Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Affairs is a term of the business that deals with the relation between a government and its veteran communities, usually administered by the designated government agency.  is hiring 100 new patient advocates to help severely injured in·jure

 veterans and their families navigate (1) "Surfing the Web." To move from page to page on the Web.

(2) To move through the menu structure in a software application.
 VA's systems for health care and disability benefits. Their job will be to ensure a smooth transition for wounded service members to VA health care facilities throughout the nation, while also cutting through red tape for other benefits.

The VA's recently expanded of polytrauma centers that care for the most seriously injured veterans, has recently been expanded with 17 additional facilities which will provide care at locations closer to home for more veterans. VA health care professionals also will soon begin screening patients who are veterans of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan for traumatic brain injury Traumatic brain injury (TBI), traumatic injuries to the brain, also called intracranial injury, or simply head injury, occurs when a sudden trauma causes brain damage. TBI can result from a closed head injury or a penetrating head injury and is one of two subsets of acquired brain , which frequently involves brain injuries without apparent exterior wounds.
