V-Day events in Topeka and Wichita.

TOPEKA, WICHITA - The Washburn University's 2012 production of The Vagina Monologues will be Feb. 24-25 at 7:30pm at the Topeka Civic Theatre, 3028 SW 8th Ave. The showings will benefit the Center for Safety and Empowerment.

Tickets will be on sale 30 minutes prior to each performance at the door or Feb. 21-24 in the Washburn Memorial Union from 11am-1pm. Contact Shanna Carlson at [e-mail] for more details.

Wichita has chosen to to present A Memory, A Monologue, A Rant and a Prayer as it's V-Day event.

The reader's theatre, also by Eve Ensler, will be Feb. 6-8 at 10pm at Wichita Community Theatre, 258 N. Fountain. The showings will benefit the Wichita Area Sexual Assault Center.
