Unicorn, UshaComm's hallmark suite of billing and customer care applications, was interfaced with the premiere Scientific Atlanta digital headend system as part of the company's Knology project. ) or digital set-top boxes in it. Each DHCT was connected to a television and they were set in the "brick mode." The media access control addresses of these DHCTs were provided to UshaComm for initiating the tests. The DNCS was pre-configured to present an environment of a live site.
