Larry T. Clemons, President of Urecoats Industries Inc., commented "I feel compelled to share my direction and foundation for direction with you all. Fourteen months ago our Chairman Richard J. Kurtz and I stood in the parking lot of what was not even Urecoats at the time and came to a monumental decision. To fully fund and operate a potential technology that has immense industry ramifications. At that time our focus was roofing and waterproofing, which roofing is a $30 billion a year industry all on its own. Understanding our products innate characteristics and its ability to consolidate the roofing and waterproofing industry we began to focus on our delivery systems. All of you familiar with Urecoats know the problems and constraints of all past prototype systems and their lack of effectiveness. Well it's amazing what hard work, capable people, and funding can accomplish when they work in concert with a focus to succeed. And of course we have succeeded. The steps we've taken have been thought out, analyzed, and set into motion. Urecoats 100(TM), Rubber Sealant Membrane (RSM)(TM) development is a `Technology of Need,' not want or desire and definitely not microchip. You can see it, touch it, and know its capabilities. I would enjoy sharing all the feedback and interest we are generating but for now follow our history of the last fourteen months, look at our Board Members, try and understand the due diligence we have done to exceed even our own expectations and product applications for reaching various industry needs. It's very exciting for us as individuals and as a company to have the privilege to work with the abovementioned esteemed colleagues. Remember, we believe we have the newest technology since the industrial revolution and if you analyze every step that we have taken your confidence and knowledge will enhance your own position. Keep in mind, we are Urecoats Industries `Achieved Through Knowledge . . . Delivered By Technology,' and soon to be assisting a planet, with a `Technology of Need.'"
In view of our accomplishments and continued progress Mr. Kurtz, Chairman of the Board of the Company, committed funds of $2 million for the year 2000.
