Upper East Side town house is ideal for learning center.

Lindamood-Bell Learning Processes, an internationally recognized leader in the remediation of learning difficulties for children and adults, has signed a long-term lease for the top two floors at 26 East 64th Street, a 7,725 s/f townhouse property on Manhattan's prestigious Upper East Side.

Developers of a series of critically acclaimed programs that teach children and adults to read, spell, comprehend and express language, Lindamood-Bell has 39 Learning Centers nationwide and one in London, England, all of which provide comprehensive, one-to-one instruction.

"The East 64th Street location is perfect for our Manhattan Learning Center," said Kimberly Linson, regional director of clinics, Lindamood-Bell. "The intimate townhouse setting puts our students at ease, and the desirable upper East Side neighborhood provides both convenient access and a quality environment."

Located on one of mid-town Manhattan's premier blocks, the townhouse is situated between Madison and Fifth Avenues. It is fully leased to four commercial tenants. Lindamood-Bell has signed for 2,900 square feet, comprising the third and fourth floors. The hair design studio of noted stylist Mete Turkmen occupies the second floor, and Kushner Companies, the New Jersey-based diversified real estate organization that owns and manages the building, maintains its New York City offices on the first floor.
