), this year's event marked the 17th International Congress and Exposition.

More than 200 exhibits occupied 49,400 sq ft--the largest exhibit space in the show's history. Among the prominently displayed equipment were casting machines, instrumentation, automation and robotic equipment, and software for streamlining metalcasting.

In addition to the exhibits, more than 60 technical presentations detailed research and development from 11 nations. Bus tours also gave attendees the opportunity to see diecasting in operation at 14 different plants.
