TAPPI TAPPI Technical Association of the Pulp and Paper Industry  PAPERMAKERS AND COATING CONFERENCES TO BE HELD TOGETHER

Division Chairman John Roper announced that the Coating and Papermakers Conferences will be held concurrently April 24-27, 2006 in Atlanta, Georgia at the Marriott Marquis.

Each division will sponsor its own technical programming, but participants will be able to attend sessions of either program. And, the Trade Fair will be open to all conference attendees. Both divisions will hold their committee meetings Monday, April 24, and technical sessions will begin on Tuesday.

Authors interested in presenting a paper on these or related topics should submit a draft manuscript to coating@tappi.org by December 31, 2005. Please note that submission of a full manuscript (not simply an abstract) is requested.

Planning for the 2006 TAPPI-PIMA Student Summit is underway. The event will be held January 14-16, 2006 at the Holiday Inn Select Downtown, Memphis, Tennessee For the ancient Egyptian capital, see .
