Starting tomorrow, Hispanic soccer fans in the U.S. will have their first-ever opportunity to follow all 64 matches anytime, anywhere through Univision.com (Uniclave: Mundial) and Univision Movil. Sponsorships of this historic coverage have already been sold out to top advertisers.

Univision.com features a dedicated FIFA World Cup(TM) mini-site, which includes a one-of-a-kind video epicenter, complete online match coverage and analysis, breaking news, daily e-mail newsletters and a real-time tournament schedule. Fans visiting the video epicenter will be able to view free, near-live FIFA World Cup(TM) video highlights of the tournament's most exciting moments from each of the 64 matches, as well as archived 2002 video highlights. Fans online will also be able to view the best of Univision's television coverage of the tournament featuring exclusive celebrity videos, player interviews and behind-the-scenes footage. Even more FIFA World Cup(TM) video coverage will be available through a broadband subscription package offering unlimited access for only $9.95.

Innovation continues with Univision Movil through Verizon Wireless Cellco Partnership, doing business as Verizon Wireless, owns and operates the second largest wireless telecommunications network in the United States, based on total wireless customers. . This summer, history will be made as Verizon Wireless customers with V CAST service become the first in the U.S. to access video highlights from all 2006 FIFA World Cup(TM) matches, updated within 30 minutes after half-time and again at the conclusion of each match, whenever they are within Verizon Wireless' V CAST Coverage Area, available in 181 major metropolitan areas in the U.S. Verizon Wireless' sponsorship with Univision Movil will also include SMS (1) (Storage Management System) Software used to routinely back up and archive files.
