COSMOS/Works will be used in the freshman Engineering Graphics course, where SolidWorks has already been implemented. Their goal is to demonstrate the new digital engineering process at an early time when entering the program. This project is one of several headed up by the Mechanical Engineering department as a result of an initial grant by Ford Motor Company to provide more hands-on experience for their engineering students.
