History UMT was founded in 1990 as the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM). In 2002, ILM received a charter to grant degrees through an Act of the Assembly of the Punjab. (UMT) on Jan. 6, 2004. This partnership offers significant educational opportunities for the DoD (AT & L) workforce. Under this partnership agreement, multiple DAU courses may be transferred toward master's degrees in management with a major area either in acquisition or project management; a master's degree in business administration (MBA); a bachelor of business administration “BBA” redirects here.
