Engineers from Niveus Media, Inc., manufacturer of premium media entertainment devices for the high-end audio/video market, such as the Niveus Media Center - Denali Edition, will work closely with UEI developers to ensure that NevoSL users can fully appreciate the high definition content stored on their devices. Once released, NevoSL owners will be able to access and control their digital entertainment, such as pictures, music, movies, and even recorded television programs, stored on any Niveus Media Center, from anywhere in the home using the new software. In addition, detailed content information, or metadata, will be able to be displayed and selected directly from NevoSL's color touchscreen interface.

Leveraging the emerging Universal Plug-and-Play (UPnP) standard, UEI's NevoSL will enable easy access and identification of content stored on Niveus Media Centers throughout the home network. Once enabled with the new software, Niveus Media Centers will be able to serve up valuable content directly to the NevoSL handheld controller, such as album, artist and track information, and even allow for distinguishing between similar content by displaying title information, so users can identify which episode of "Lost" to play by simply looking up the show's title on their NevoSL.

"The Niveus Media Centers are known for offering discerning consumers the ultimate in digital media enjoyment," said Ramzi Ammari, vice president of product development at UEI. "We are very proud of the collaboration in innovation to deliver the ultimate digital media experience to the consumer."
