United Way Silicon Valley and Charitableway.com Partner to Put the Internet to Work for the Community.

United Way Silicon Valley and Charitableway.com today announced a partnership agreement that will make innovative use of technology and the Internet to bring greater financial accountability, credibility of pledge processing, and efficiency to the 77 year old human care services agency.

United Way Silicon Valley has engaged Charitableway.com to be an application service provider that will provide a state-of-the-art pledge processing system. Supporters of United Way Silicon Valley will have a convenient, engaging way to contribute and know that they are giving through a secure, fully-accountable mechanism. United Way Silicon Valley will also gain exposure to a new universe of donors.

United Way Silicon Valley evaluates and raises funds for over 100 health and human care agencies and works with organizations and members of the community to solve complex health and human care problems in the area.
