United Synagogue Youth United Synagogue Youth is the youth movement of the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism or USCJ.

United Synagogue Youth, more commonly known as USY, is a youth group with members from the United States and Canada dedicated to creating a fun, educational environment
 (USY USY United Synagogue Youth ), a national Jewish youth organization, is holding a rally and march against violence in downtown Des Moines at 12:00pm on November 24. The march will start at the Capitol Capitol, seat of the U.S. Congress

The rally and march are expected to draw nearly 500 high school students from around the Midwest, as well as a large number of students from local high schools. The group hopes to raise money for several anti-violence charities, including the National Campaign Against Youth Violence and the National Youth Action Council. The event is being sponsored by National Campaign Against Youth Violence, Ben and Jerry's, Snow Communications, South Lake Pediatrics, David's Print Shop, Wholesale Imprints, MTV MTV

"USY has done a great deal for charity in the past," said Nate Asher, Regional USY President. "We've participated in food drives, worked on the AIDS quilt, and donated over $20,000 annually to charity. This year we wanted to make a statement, to bring people together for a common purpose and promote a cause we believe in. That's what the event is about."
