United States Army and CRUSH Innovative Sports Systems complete phase one of survival vest co-development program.

 Directorate project. Phase two will entail the development of a number of testable production quality prototypes. The SISD is now evaluating the phase one prototype and discussions are ongoing with regards to tooling and production implementation.

Phase three is anticipated to be the manufacture of 50,000 backpack units that will consist of CRUSH's patented fastening technology, two plastic injection molded frames that will house the components of the fastening system and a vest and pack assembly that will attach to the two plastic injection molded frames. CRUSH(tm) will be responsible for manufacturing the tie-down pins, housing, armature armature, in art: see sculpture.
