United States Antimony Announces Record Zeolite Sales for 2004.

THOMPSON FALLS, Mont. -- United States Antimony (OTCBB:UAMY) announced that Bear River Zeolite Company (BRZ), a wholly owned subsidiary of USAC, had record sales for 2004. The sales were up 126% over those of 2003. Major markets include animal feed, odor control, flow agents, oil and gas applications, water filtration, soil amendments and animal litter. Restrictions have eased on the export of beef from Canada following the BSE (mad cow) problem, and the sale of zeolite to the beef cattle market in Alberta has picked up significantly in the last month. Many plant improvements were made during 2004, and in 2005 an additional production line will be completed to meet new orders from new markets.

USAC is now the only significant producer of antimony in the United States. The Company produces antimony metal, antimony oxide, sodium antimonite and a variety of other products whose raw materials are obtained primarily from sources other than China. Chinese production has been falling, while internal consumption has been growing. Prices have shown a strong increase during the last four years. Management believes this represents an opportunity for USAC.

On a Corporate basis, USAC continues to improve its balance sheet, while in the past year at the same time it has completed three out of four very expensive reclamation projects it has long sought to restore.
