The follow on contract will last through the fourth quarter of 2010. Boeing produces the C-17 Globemaster III in Long Beach, Ca for the U.S. Air Force and a growing number of international defense forces. The fusealage skins are manufactured at the DAS Gardena facility utilizing specialized spe·cial·ize v. spe·cial·ized, spe·cial·iz·ing, spe·cial·iz·es v.intr. 1.
