Area. The project is funded by two Environmental Protection Agency Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), independent agency of the U.S. government, with headquarters in Washington, D.C. It was established in 1970 to reduce and control air and water pollution, noise pollution, and radiation and to ensure the safe handling and Brownfields Program grants totaling $400,000.
SCS is responsible for completing an area-wide inventory, incorporating the inventory into a Geographic Information System geographic information system (GIS) Computerized system that relates and displays data collected from a geographic entity in the form of a map. The ability of GIS to overlay existing data with new information and display it in colour on a computer screen is used primarily to (GIS), identifying site selection criteria for Phase I environmental site assessments, and completing the Phase I assessments for selected sites. As a grant recipient, the Redevelopment Agency is required to submit various reports for regulatory compliance. SCS will assist the Redevelopment Agency with the preparation of these reports as needed as needed prn. See prn order. .
