The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office has issued patent number 7,577,835 for the "Deployable Secure Communication System from TeleCommunication telecommunication

Communication between parties at a distance from one another. Modern telecommunication systems—capable of transmitting telephone, fax, data, radio, or television signals—can transmit large volumes of information over long distances.
Systems, Inc (TCS (Transportation Control System) A widely used integrated information system for railroad transportation developed by the Missouri Pacific Railroad Company in the late 1960s and early 1970s. It was later implemented by Union Pacific when the companies merged. ). TCS, which provides mission-critical wireless data solutions to government customers, public safety, and carriers, currently holds 89 patents with more than 250 applications pending.

The TCS patent for "Deployable Secure Communication System describes methods and apparatus that enable a portable, deployable communication system that can route secure communications through the Internet Internet

Publicly accessible computer network connecting many smaller networks from around the world. It grew out of a U.S. Defense Department program called ARPANET (Advanced Research Projects Agency Network), established in 1969 with connections between computers at the

The described methods and apparatus support a system for secure network functionality contained in a single, portable case. The system is designed to take advantage of any connection to the Internet and can be used for emergency response, news reporting, public safety, field surveys and other situations in which a remote user needs to transmit and receive confidential data without access to a direct, secure network connection.
